Wexford Credit Union joined credit union members around the world to celebrate the 74th International Credit Union Day last week. To mark the occasion, Wexford Credit Union (WCU) hired local businesses to assist with the celebrations. Justin Murphy of Coffee Express and Tara Casey of Bella’s Kitchen provided members with complimentary teas, coffees and cupcakes, local musician Derek Cunningham provided the entertainment, and Nicole Cullen decorated the office with her famous display of balloons.

Also on the day Stephen Rochford collected his prize of an electric bike, a competition ran to commemorate the first-ever loan issued by WCU
Meanwhile, Credit Unions have topped the league table for the best customer experience in Ireland for the eighth year in a row at the official CXi awards..
