Wexford Credit Union presents electric bike to mark international event Leave a comment

Wexford Credit Union joined credit union members around the world to celebrate the 74th International Credit Union Day last week. To mark the occasion, Wexford Credit Union (WCU) hired local businesses to assist with the celebrations. Justin Murphy of Coffee Express and Tara Casey of Bella’s Kitchen provided members with complimentary teas, coffees and cupcakes, local musician Derek Cunningham provided the entertainment, and Nicole Cullen decorated the office with her famous display of balloons.

We genuinely care about our members, and put them at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to remain a cornerstone of our community by continuing to go above and beyond for our members.

“We believe that WCU makes a real, positive impact on the lives of people in the Wexford area and we want to remind people that we are open to help with their personal financial needs.”

Also on the day Stephen Rochford collected his prize of an electric bike, a competition ran to commemorate the first-ever loan issued by WCU

Meanwhile, Credit Unions have topped the league table for the best customer experience in Ireland for the eighth year in a row at the official CXi awards..

Speaking about the achievement, Martin Donovan, CEO of Wexford Credit Union said, “Once again, we see Irish credit unions top the poll for best customer experience in this year’s CXi report. “The results from the CXi report speak for themselves and it is a testament to the dedication and the hard work of staff and volunteer directors in Wexford Credit Union and in every credit union in Ireland.”
