Komaki electric cruiser bike teased: name and range revealed
You remember we told you guys that home-grown EV manufacturer Komaki Electric Vehicles will soon launch the country’s first electric cruiser bike? Guess what, the company has finally revealed some new details about this upcoming electric bike in India: its name and its range. Komaki shared its upcoming e bike in India will be called Komaki Ranger which will offer a riding range of 250 km per charge. The automaker has shared plenty of other details including Komaki Ranger’s features, specs, etc. So, read on.
The automaker said its upcoming electric two-wheeler in India will be powered by a 5000-watt motor and make use of a 4-kilowatt battery pack, which happens to be the largest battery pack seen on an electric two-wheeler in India. As mentioned above, Komaki Ranger e bike’s range is claimed to be 250 km on a single charge.
In order to ensure Komaki Ranger electric bike remains a competitive proposition in the country’s burgeoning EV market, the bike will come equipped with advanced provisions such as Bluetooth connectivity, advanced braking system, cruise control, repair switch, reverse switch, etc.
Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, “The Ranger is going to be a game-changer as it is India’s first-ever electric cruiser. There are some things that need to be finalized but we have decided to keep the price affordable. We want everyone – especially the common man – to experience the joy of riding a quality cruiser that is made in India. Komaki has invested more than 1 million USD in the design and development of ranger. We have left no stone unturned to make sure that Ranger comes out as our masterpiece, and we hope that it’ll be received with love once it rolls out in the market.”
