TVS iQube electric scooter has been launched in one more city in India, folks. The scooter is now also available for retail in Pune, where it gets a price tag of ₹1.11 lakh (on-road, Pune). The e scooter in India was first launched last year, though the company started iQube’s sales with Bengaluru before eventually expanding its availability to Delhi. To cut a long story short, Pune is now the third city where TVS iQube is sold. The company says it plans to add at least 20 more cities to the list over the next few months. so, Pune folks, if you have been eyeing this baby, now is your chance. TVS iQube bookings are now open and you will need a token amount of ₹ 5,000.

The TVS iQube, rival to names such as Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, etc., has been developed completely in-house. The electric scooter makes use of a 4.4 kW electric motor and offers a top speed of roughly 78 km/h. However, the aforementioned top speed is available only in Sport mode. TVS has also equipped the iQube e scooter with two riding modes, namely, Eco and Sport. Finally, the battery — it can be charged to 100 per cent in just about 5 hours. Wait, there’s the range too; TVS iQuber electric scooter’s maximum riding range is claimed to be 75 km on a single charge in Eco mode. In Sport mode, the range drops to 55 km per charge.

TVS iQube’s list of features includes a mono LED headlamp, Q-park Assist, regenerative braking, and a TFT screen with SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity suite that enables features such as remote battery charge status check, geo-fencing, navigation assist, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts, last park location, etc.
