Roads policing officers thought they had seen it all – until they caught sight of this electric scooter rider.
Officers on patrol were shocked to see the rider pootling along at a few miles per hour on chevrons next to the M606 near Bradford.
The foolhardy rider was apparently trying to merge into traffic with 70mph cars rumbling by.
West Yorkshire’s Roads Policing Unit tweeted a video of the hapless scooter rider.
The tweet said: “M606, Bradford – Officers on patrol were shocked to see this E-Scooter on the chevrons trying to join a live motorway lane with 70mph traffic.
