The Italian brand recently revealed its latest electric scooter — One — on a social media platform. Reportedly, the company has now revealed some information about the electric scooter’s powertrain and variants. Piaggio One will be available in three variants — One, One Plus, and One Active. As per several reports, each of these variants will have the same design and features but will be differentiated on the account of their performance and riding range.
Piaggio One will be available with a 1.8 kWh battery pack that will power a 2 bhp motor that will offer peak torque of 85 Nm and let the scooter attain a top speed of 45 km/h. This entry-level variant will offer a riding range of 55 km on a single charge. Piaggio One Plus, however, will get a bigger 2.3 kWh battery pack offering a range of 100 km/charge and a top speed of 55 km/h. The One Active will be the most powerful variant in the lineup. The compact side panels, black handle cowl and inserts on the apron, black alloy wheels, wide seat, and sleek LED taillight enhance the overall appeal of the electric scooter.
Piaggio One gets a fully digital instrument cluster that offers information like speed, trip meter, odometer, charging level, available range, etc. Other than this, the scooter also gets a USB charging point. Piaggio One’s suspension duties are tended to by a single-sided front fork and twin rear shockers while the braking force comes from disc brakes on either end.
