A man is fighting for life after the electric bike he was riding crashed with a car.
The rider of the e-bike – a man in his 30s – was rushed to hospital where he is currently fighting for his life.

The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The driver of the Vauxhall stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A police cordon was set up on Park Street at around 8pm last night as investigations into the cause of the crash begun. The road has since reopened.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Toxteth last night, Tuesday June 1.
“At around 8.15pm, emergency services were called to the junction of Beaufort Street and Park Street to reports of a collision involving a Vauxhall Grandland and a man riding an electric bike.
“The man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is currently being treated and is in a critical condition.

“The man’s family have been informed and Family Liaison Officers are supporting the family.
“The driver of the Vauxhall Grandland stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
“An investigation has commenced and enquiries carried out at the scene, including CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries. The road has now been reopened.”
