While the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is currently sold in Bengaluru and Pune only, the TVS iQube electric scooter is on sale in Bengaluru and Delhi only.

Bajaj Auto sold 90 units of the Chetak in March 2021. In comparison, TVS Motor Company sold 355 units of the iQube during the month.

Offered in two variants (Urbane and Premium), the Bajaj Chetak is priced between Rs 1,42,620 and Rs 1,44,620 (ex-showroom). The TVS iQube is priced at Rs 1,36,077 (ex-showroom).

The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is equipped with a 4kW motor paired with an IP67-rated 3kWh (48V, 60.3 AH) lithium-ion battery. The motor delivers 16Nm of peak torque. The battery can be charged at any three-pin AC 220V, 5A wall socket. A 25 per cent charge can be achieved in an hour, 80 per cent in three-and-a-half hours and 100 per cent in five hours. You can ride the Chetak in either Eco mode or Sport mode. The claimed range for the electric scooter is 95km in Eco mode and 85km in Sport mode.

The TVS iQube electric scooter employs a Bosch-sourced hub-mounted 4.4kW BLDC motor. There are three lithium-ion battery packs covered in an aluminium case. With a combined capacity of 2,250Wh, the li-ion battery packs enable the iQube to obtain a maximum range of 75km in a single full charge, which can be achieved in approximately six hours. It can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 4.2 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 78kmph.
