The man was arrested a short time later and the bike was seized by police.
A police spokesperson said: “The 32-year-old man from Aigburth was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving; drug driving; and possession of cannabis.

“It beggars belief that someone would behave in this way and we believe that more bikes were being ridden in the area around this time. If you saw or captured anything, either living locally with CCTV, passing in a vehicle with dashcam, or on another device, let us know.
“We are absolutely determined to find all of those responsible and ensure that this dangerous behaviour is not repeated.”
