A £200 electric scooter was stolen from an Aldridge home – now police want to speak to this man.

The property in Lazy Hill Road, Aldridge, was targeted at around 1pm on March 13.

Police say the suspect tried to force open the front door but failed. However he managed to swipe the expensive scooter and flee.

West Midlands Police has now released a CCTV image of a man officers wish to speak to regarding the incident.

A force spokesman said: “We’re appealing for information following an attempted burglary on Lazy Hill Road, Aldridge.

“The suspect tried to force open the front door of a house at around 1pm on March 13.”

The spokesman continued: “The door did not open, but the suspect managed to steal and make off on an electric scooter worth around £200.

“If you have any information please get in touch.”
