Knife-wielding robbers stole an electric bike from two teenagers in Walsall.

The two thieves circled the pair on an off-road bike in Treyamon Road, Park Hall, before threatening the youngsters with the weapon.

A Kawasaki electric bike, which had a black and green frame, was swiped by the pillion passenger, who put it over his shoulder as the motorbike drove off along Helston Road.

West Midlands Police has now released CCTV images of two men officers wish to speak to following the incident, which happened at around 6.15pm on March 22.

The force has also released an image of the stolen bike and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman said: “Do you know who either of these men are?

“We want to speak to them after an electric bike was stolen from two teenagers in Treyamon Road, Park Hall at around 6.15pm on Monday, March 22.

“The two offenders circled the pair on an off-road bike before threatening the youngsters with a knife.

“The pillion passenger put the Kawasaki electric bike, which has a black and green frame, over his shoulder and the two offenders left on the motorbike along Helston Road.

“If you saw the robbery or have any information about where the stolen bike may be, message us via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight.”
