A dumbfounded delivery man was left stranded on Dublin’s quays after his electric bike spontaneously went up in flames.
The e-bike was filmed spitting embers and crackled on the ground near the Millennium Bridge on Wellington Quay.
The dangerous electrical fire continued as noises popped out of the bike, with little crackles shooting embers across the path and onto the road.
The delivery man, seemingly with a backpack full of food, was left to just shrug on the sidelines as his transport continued to burn.
Footage obtained by Dublin Live shows him just standing around as a female voice humorously observes that that must be why her food was late.
Another voice paid homage to Homer Simpson, demanding to know where his burrito was.
The footage sent in by Dublin Live reader Shane Coppinger, who insisted he was “not eating” any food that was on the way.
