Gardai are on the hunt for a masked gang of men who snatched an e-scooter from an innocent commuter in a quiet Dublin commuter town.

The scary attack took place on The Avenue in Ratoath, Co Meath on Sunday evening.

The gang, all wearing dark clothing and black masks, approached the scooter rider and forcibly snatched it from him before escaping.

The scooter is a Xiaomi Mi Pro, and Gardai circulated a picture of the model to the public in the hope that they could help the poor man get it back.
