A gang of young people were found breaching covid restrictions after being caught riding their E-scooters up and down a Swadlincote town centre road.
Officers from Swadlincote Police safer neighbourhood team spotted the youths on their electric scooters over the weekend and said they were causing antisocial behaviour issues.
Officers had been out on patrol in Civic Way when they made the discovery on Saturday, February 20.
The scooters were seized by police and the youths were dealt with for the covid breaches.
Electric scooters cannot be used on public roads, cycle lanes or pavements. They can only be used on private land with the permission of the landowner.
The team has also patrolled Rosliston Forestry Centre and Maurice Lea Memorial Park, in Church Gresley.
