Boy, 15, arrested on suspicion of robbery after youth with electric scooter attacked Leave a comment


A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a youth had his electric scooter stolen by a gang.

The incident happened in Gorse Hill, Leicester, on Sunday evening.

The 13-year-old victim was walking along the road with his friend just after 7.10pm when they were approached by a group of teenage boys, police said.

The boy was punched in the face and kicked.. An electric scooter was stolen from the victim, but has since been returned.

A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said the arrested teenager had been released on police bail.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing, said the force.
